The Macedonian Monastery – A complete from scratch build. We were blessed with the opportunity to take part in the build of the local Illawarra Macedonian monastery. The designs came in and were heavily focused on an architectural design, we knew immediately that the project was going to be difficult. However, as our founder Ron has an ethnic background as a proud Macedonian, he knew that this would be the most fulfilling project they would do for many years to come. This marquee project was required to have concrete columns, large arches that protrude to the roof, a phenomenal bell tower and a feature spiral stairs that were over 24m in height. The project was based off photo inspiration from the ethnic motherland buildings in Macedonia, we were tasks with the pre-architectual
work and we managed to match the clients vision of the photo replica. We are pleased to have fulfilled this project, and it will be one that will remain a marquee in our portfolio forever.
